The latest business travel innovation from Tripkicks, featured at GBTA Convention 2024
As we continue to enhance the business travel experience, we are excited to announce several innovative updates to the Tripkicks platform, unveiled at the GBTA Convention 2024. These updates are designed to empower travelers with more control and valuable insights, ultimately making their booking experience more efficient and cost-effective. Tripkicks 2024 Summer Updates include new capabilities to help travelers save money while booking flights and inform travelers about local events at their destination, enabled by two new Partner Connections.
Tripkicks Airfare Intelligence
Flexible Dates Savings: Travelers will now have access to flexible date options to save on flight costs, while searching for and booking airfare. Our Airfare Intelligence evaluates trip durations within the same week, allowing travelers to see potential savings by adjusting their travel dates. A dynamic tile in the Tripkicks Insights Banner will notify users of these savings, providing a seamless way to compare the costs between the original and alternate travel dates.
Book Now Guidance: To help travelers avoid price hikes, our new feature encourages booking when airfare prices are predicted to rise. If airfare costs are predicted to increase, Tripkicks Airfare Intelligence tile will appear within our Insights Banner, instructing travelers to “Book Now.” Travelers can click on the “Book Now” tile to view a chart showing the expected price increase over the coming days, ensuring they make informed booking decisions.
Price Drop Notifications: In cases where significant price drops are anticipated, Tripkicks Airfare Intelligence will suggest waiting to book. A tile in the Insights Banner will explain to travelers that airfare prices are expected to drop, and allow them to opt-in to be notified when that occurs. Travelers will then receive an email notification, allowing them to come back and book their flight at the lower cost.
Tripkicks Events Intelligence
Local Events at Destination: Our new Events Intelligence connection keeps travelers informed about local events happening at their destination. This tool is perfect for solo travelers looking for activities or groups seeking to strengthen their bonds as a team or just have some fun. The Insights Banner will highlight popular events, expanding with detailed information and ticketing options available for multiple events.
Adding Events Intelligence is a simple way for corporate travel programs to deliver a more positive traveler experience and provide a resource that makes business travel better.
Enhanced Insights Banner and Supplier Attributes with New Connections
Insights Banner: The Tripkicks Insights Banner, integrated seamlessly within the booking tool, now features a growing collection of curated guidance, tips, and dynamic content from our partners. This customizable banner ensures travelers receive relevant information and insights tailored to their specific travel program and priorities.
Supplier Attributes: Next to each flight and lodging option, simple icons and tips communicate options that support program initiatives or unique offerings, making it easier for travelers to choose the best options for their needs. Companies can incorporate custom content and data within Tripkicks Supplier Attributes, so travelers can see the unique amenities and attributes offered with each of your preferred suppliers.
